When Dan Marbaix visited West Park Hospital in England, he realized that these places had “everything a photographer wants”, as much of the furniture and fixtures still remained in this abandoned spaces.
Marbaix started taking photographs since he enjoyed looking at these places, and “hasn’t really stopped” since.
Although he knows where these asylums are located, he refuses to divulge their locations as they may be ransacked or vandalized.
Even if we are unable to see these places for ourselves, we are able to get a sense of how creepy they are through these pictures.
