To help you take better up-close images with your smartphone, engineer Adam Hicks has created the ultra-simple ‘Easy-Macro’ smartphone lens, which allows users to take incredibly detailed shots without the hassle of a cumbersome camera accessory.
Consisting of nothing more than a specially designed lens attached to an elastic band that fits all smartphones, the Easy-Macro offers 4x magnification that greatly enhances your phone camera’s macro capabilities.
Its extremely compact design also means that it can go everywhere with you in your pocket, strapped securely around your smartphone.
Although the Easy-Macro has been around for two years, its creators have gone onto Kickstarter to introduce a new and improved version that is “stronger, better looking and easier to produce”—you can pledge for the campaign here.
