With the help of The Brand Union, mobile communications company Vodafone has unveiled an updated visual identity.

The enhanced logo still retains Vodafone’s ‘inverted comma’ logo, but a red rhombus shape that anchors to the original roundel has been added—repositioning the company “as a catalyst for progress,” according to a statement.

Vodafone’s refreshed look can be extended to more media platforms such as TV and digital—instead of just print and static imagery—as it can be used in moving forms.

Barbara Haase, Vodafone’s group brand director, said in a statement, “Our new visual brand identity is a true representation of Vodafone: never static—always moving—and ensuring that our technology empowers everyone who uses it.”

The updated logo will roll out across the network’s products in the following months.
