An unnamed Russian tycoon has bought a diamond-studded “electronic cigarette” in a bid to get his girlfriend to quit smoking.
Although this device resembles the shisha sticks that one sees on hookahs, this luxury anti-smoking stick sports 46 Swarovski crystals, a 24-karat gold button, with a UK£46,000 sparkler attached to its end.
Made by Anthony Mixides of Shisha Sticks, this device took four months to complete, with the maker enthusiastically sourcing for gems once he was told that money was “no object”.
The buyer hopes that his girlfriend will not mistake this shiny smoking stick for her disposable ones, but it is hard to miss, especially with all the “bling” encrusted on it.
What do you think—is this the ultimate luxury, or a waste of money?
