Banksy has done it again, this time on a dingy corner in the Lower East Side, 159 Ludlow Street. Covering the sides of a truck and car, the gritty black-and-white piece depicts rearing horses in goggles, cross-hairs, men with guns, crouching men, and skull motifs.

This is the ninth work for his ‘Better Out Than In’ exhibition that will span the month of October.

The related audio file will enlighten viewers on the piece, and can be heard by dialing the number spray-painted on the metal can, or directly through Banksy’s website.

The haunting audio extract was taken from this video footage about a shooting in Iraq in 2007.

With its sensitive content, defacers might keep their hands off this one.
