Photographer Charles Freger traveled through 19 European countries photographing costumes used in ancient pagan rituals that are still practiced today.
‘Wilder Mann’ features fantastic images depicting the wilder and more tribal days of a Europe that is little-seen or known today. Looking at the bizarre outfits immediately conjures up visions of gods, beasts and bonfires in one’s mind.
