To commemorate the finale of AMC’s hit television show ‘Breaking Bad’, media studies student Ariana Gonzales traveled around her hometown—which was where the show was set—and overlapped photos of TV scenes with their actual locations.
Gonzales, who is from Albuquerque, New Mexico, visited many of the show’s locations to hold up black-and-white snap shots, juxtaposing them with the background—offering viewers a glimpse into the world of Walter White and Jessie Pinkman.
“I wanted to capture the reality of the show by taking memorable or iconic scenes and places throughout seasons one to five,” explained Gonzales. “I wanted to breathe more life into the show by presenting the actual setting of the scenes.”
