
In Dessau, Germany, lovers of the Bauhaus design movement can now book a night’s stay at the Bauhaus Dessau, a Bauhaus-themed hotel.
During a stay at the Bauhaus Dessau, you can relive the experience of the design students from this prestigious school.
Consisting of 20 blocks of refurbished rooms, rates at the hotel start at USD$47 a night.
The idea is to experience the daily lives of Bauhauslers, as they lived 90 years ago. As a guest at this hotel, you can get the full Bauhaus experience, including collective bathrooms, showers, and dining house.
One of the upcoming upgrades is five newly upgraded flats which will start at USD$60 per night. These flats are outfitted with distinct features of the school’s more illustrious alumni, including Joseph Albers, Franz Ehrlich and Alfred Arndt.
