In Paris, A Stylish Apartment That Fits Into A Tiny Space Under A Roof

Living in small spaces is usually not a pleasant experience, but this cleverly designed micro-apartment in Paris certainly looks to be an exception to the rule.

Created by French architect Sylvie Cahen, this 170-square-foot apartment—which fits into an unused space under a building’s roof—looks more spacious than one would expect.

By slotting functional elements and storage solutions into the many nooks and crannies, Cahen is able to fit a bedroom with a study area, a kitchen and a shower comfortably into the tiny space.

The large windows that lets in plenty of light and the white paintwork also help to create a sense of space that turns a potentially claustrophobic living situation into a cozy one.
