Fine art photographer Dale May has created a series titled “Lego Wars” where he transformed tiny Star Wars LEGO minifigs into imposing, larger-than-life figures.
Using macro photography to blow up these small plastic toys into more epic proportions, May allows the viewer to look at the iconic minifigs through new eyes.
He may not be the first or only to photograph LEGO minifigs, but it is not often that they are depicted as life-sized instead of as miniatures.
A few of the more intriguing images from the collection feature Stormtrooper minifigs with wacky antlers and bunny ears.
