Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s sister, Randi Zuckerberg is publishing a children’s book about social media addiction.

Giving some perspective into the familiar and prevalent internet culture that her brother’s company helped to create—the picture book entitled ‘Dot’, illustrated by Joe Berger, is about a technology-loving little girl named Dot who is obsessed with her electronic devices.

“Dot knows a lot. She knows how to tap… to swipe… to share… and she pays little attention to anything else,” the description of the book’s promo video wrote.

In a blog post, Randi Zuckerberg states that she hopes the book reminds readers that “life’s a little bit richer when you look up from the screen.”

Randi Zuckerberg was inspired to write ‘Dot’ after talking to parents around the world: “I found that although technology is making our lives easier and helping keep us connected, many parents are worried about how to raise their children in this new digital era,” she wrote in a blog post.

The book can also be purchased with a Dot plush doll that aptly comes with its own stuffed tablet.

For adults, she has also written a part-memoir, part how-to manual that addresses privacy, online presence, networking, etiquette and the future of social change. ‘Dot Complicated: Untangling Our Wired Lives’ writes about how technology and social media influences our choices online and offline.

‘Dot’ goes on sale on 5 November, and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
