YouTube has released a video, announcing the first-ever ‘YouTube Music Awards’.
The event would be aired live from New York City, on YouTube on 3 November—and will feature live performances from Seoul, Moscow, London and Rio, where artists create music videos in real-time.
Prior to the show, the video-sharing website will announce nominees on 17 October, for fans to start voting to decide who wins awards.
The nominees will be artists and videos that have been watched, shared and liked most over the past year.
The YouTube Music Awards is created by filmmaker Spike Jonze and YouTube, and will be hosted by Jason Schwartzman and presented by KIA.
