A team of students at the University of Maribor in Slovenia has developed a 3D-printer that can print objects "out of living grass".
‘Tiskaj ZELENO’, which means Print GREEN, combines art, nature and technology in one device. It prints using a mixture of soil, water and grass seeds, and the printed designs are capable of sprouting and turning green over time.
