Although Canberra is Australia’s capital city, many people living outside of Australia know very little about it—some have not even heard of it.
After a long time of being outshined by Sydney and Melbourne, the city of Canberra decided to create a rebranding campaign that aims to change its dull image.
Australian agency Coordinate has designed a new logo for the city, comprising of its name in the abbreviated form of “CBR”—the letters also stands for “Confident, Bold and Ready”.
To be launched on all city-related materials in March 2014, this striking new logo is at the center of the larger campaign to create a stronger, more positive and unique identify for the city.
