To celebrate the German car brand, Audi, ad agency Venables Bell & Partners teamed up with South California-based graphic designer Ty Mattson of studio Mattson Creative to create a children’s book.
Entitled ‘It Couldn’t Be Done: An Audi Story’, the 28-page book takes a look at how the brand was started, and its accomplishments over the years.
Containing minimalist illustrations executed in the shades of black, white and bold red—reminiscent of graphic designer Saul Bass’ style—paired with text in the likeness of Dr Seuss’ rhymes, the graphical storybook was created for the carmaker’s employees and serves as inspiration for the old and young alike.
