Using the old technique of lenticular printing, Gifpop! is a start-up business that prints your favorite GIFs into fun postcards whose images appear to move when viewed from different angles.
After being successfully funded on Kickstarter last month, the Gifpop! team has already gone into production and are now letting customers make orders for Gifpops made from their own GIFs.
For those without a suitable GIF to turn into a Gifpop, mind-bending limited edition prints by GIF artists are also being sold on the site.
While the technology behind this venture may not be ground-breaking, these awesome “moving” postcards would still be an interesting way to send out festive greetings this holiday season.
