25 Artists Take Over Photoshop’s Newly Created Instagram For Its 25th Birthday

Photoshop turns 25 this year, and it’s turning the spotlight on 25 creatives under the age of 25 for its celebratory campaign.

Called ‘25 Under 25’, Adobe is on a global hunt for 25 of the most creative Photoshop artists, who are under 25 years old.

Individuals are to come up with an original piece of work to commemorate the anniversary. 25 artists will then be handpicked to be in charge of taking over Photoshop’s newly launched Instagram for a two-week period each, giving the world a glimpse into their creative lives.

Mexican-American artist and illustrator, Fredy Santiago, has already kicked off the campaign, showcasing his work on Photoshop’s Instagram.

You can also get in on the action by tagging your projects on Behance with ‘Ps25Under25’.

Fret not if you aren’t able to participate, you can still get your inspiration fix by keeping your eyes fixed on the collection.

Check out the first postings on Photoshop’s Instagram below and find out more about the campaign here.

Knowing what inspired Fredy Santiago (@imsugarcoated) to get started as a kid helps you understand his art that much more. “The cartoons of the late 90’s, early 2000’s made a big impact on me: that thick, bold style in shows like Dexter’s Laboratory, Teen Titans, and the Powerpuff girls.“ Anyone else start doodling because of the cartoons you watched as a kid?

Though only 24, @imsugarcoated has a specific aesthetic that’s part of his DNA. He’s not afraid to make busy, loud pieces, full of color and thick bold lines. // Fredy is just the first of our #Ps25Under25; we’re still looking for more great artists from around the world to feature on our Instagram feed. Think you could be next? Tag your work with #Ps25Under25 on social or on Behance with Ps25Under25.
