Chinese artist Jeffrey Wang uses dance to showcase Chinese characters and calligraphy. Chinese characters incorporate the use of symbols and philosophical meanings that have long since become the essence of traditional Chinese aesthetics.
In the series titled Dancing Calligraphy, Wang uses the visual art of dance, its strokes and movement, to capture the meaning and form of each Chinese character.
