Boston-based Google hardware engineer Adam Woodworth has impressively transformed a Star Wars toy into a remote-controlled quadcopter.

Adam took apart and reassembled the original speeder bike toy from Hasbro, before experimenting with different rotor layouts rendered in CAD.

His final product was able to hold up to 600g of mass, allowing a light weight rider to fly on its back—it was made from pipe cleaners and Nerf darts, with a FPV camera mounted to a styrofoam ball as its head.
