Relive your childhood again with these whimsical coloring books for adults, by UK illustrator and artist Johanna Basford.
Her coloring books are inspired by Scotland’s Brodick Castle Gardens, where her grandfather was the head gardener, and visits to her grandparents’ home on the Isle of Arran.
Her illustrations are filled with intricate hidden details, from lush floral to curious animals and birds peeking from the rich fauna.
Following the success of her first book entitled Secret Garden, which has sold over a million copies online, and translated into 14 different languages, she recently launched her second book Enchanted Forest, and is working on her third book now.
Johanna told BuzzFeed, “coloring seems to help people think about a time when life was simpler and more carefree.”
