Inspired by mountainous landscapes, the dress, titled Terrain is made up of multiple layers of textile, paper and wood.
The geometric sculpture is a joint collaboration between Singapore-based artists Alice Allis, Lim Qi Xuan, Xiao Yan and Gillian Toh.
A metal structure was created to hold the dress and to give it volume. Fabric made to resemble snow, paper that looks like rocks and wood facets are added layer by layer to complete the landscape on the dress.
The dress is not meant for practical use, but the creative layering does make it stunning to behold. Read more about it here.
