US artist and designer Kyson Dana has created a series of animal illustrations for his baby boy.
Tired of the illustrated baby books found in bookstores, Kyson wanted to create his own artworks that he could compile into an alphabet book for his son.
To ensure that he stay committed to finishing the project, Kyson challenged his friend Jeffery Smith to produce a drawing of an animal everyday, starting with the letter ‘A’ and working through the entire alphabet.
The illustrations could be drawn on any medium, but they had to post it to Instagram by midnight—at the end of 26 days, the duo was pleased to see that their sketches had improved tremendously with each new day, and Kyson had gotten 1,500 new followers on his Instagram account.
