For the past 19 months, graphic designer and dad
Brent Almond has been creating awesome daily doodles on sticky notes for his young son, which he uploads to his
@superlunchnotes Instagram account.
It all started when he drew a picture of Batman on a Post-it note with the caption “Go get ’em!”, in an effort to make little Jon’s first day of preschool extra special.
His son loved it so much that Almond decided to do it for the whole of his first week, said the loving father to
BuzzFeed.
The illustrator draws mainly pop culture and cartoon characters, with superheroes taking pride of place as he has always been fascinated with them—he hopes that this love will be passed down to his son.
Almond sometimes takes special requests from his son, such as when he wanted a doodle of Godzilla saying “Have a ROAR day!”
