To raise awareness of the world’s dwindling tiger population, Whiskas and WWF have unveiled a grim ad that dispels the adage that all cats have nine lives.
The ad starts off innocently enough with funny YouTube clips of cats emerging unscathed from awkward and dangerous situations, but takes a sobering turn when it’s revealed that only 3,200 tigers remain in the wild due to illegal hunting.
It also urges viewers to visit http://ift.tt/1AVn0ii to donate to restore tiger numbers.
The ad was created by London-based ad agency Freuds.
