Nintendo fans can geek out with this official Nintendo style guide from 1993. The manual recently resurfaced again, and it contains a wealth of information about much loved Nintendo characters.
Gaming site Press The Buttons discovered the forgotten guide, which contains specific information about how characters like Mario, Luigi, Kirby and Yoshi should be depicted in advertisements and other media.
Although Nintendo itself doesn't follow the style guide to a tee, it features interesting bits of information, like the color of Princess Peach's belt (PANTONE 223) and Mario's favorite music (opera and new-wave Europop). Also, according to the manual, Mario is not human, but a distinct species: homo nintendonus.
