
Considering the amount of time one spends staring at others’ armpits during crowded subway commutes, that unglamorous anatomical zone could be viewed as a highly visible “public space”.
Graphic design students Rachel Singer and Oliver St John has came up with the whacky but undeniably useful idea to stitch a map of the London Underground onto the armpit of a coat, so that the wearer’s fellow commuters can conduct a map consultation at ease.
