A Typeface Stripped Apart, For Better Understanding





Graphic designer Matt Stevens' typographic study has led him to combine his love for vintage automative manuals and typography, resulting in typefaces that he features in ‘exploded diagrams.’



This uncanny pairing gives rise to a retro-vibe that bestows a new lease of life to the entire font-set.



Stevens' work shows how the deconstruction of typefaces can allow us to really get to the heart of the font's essential make-up.
