It's official: the Super Bowl has competition.
Hallmark Channel recently announced that they would be introducing an annual Kitten Bowl on February 2 next year.
That's three glorious hours showcasing feline skill and of course, cat cuteness.
Cat-lovers would be pleased to know that all cat contestants will be asked to join from their respective animal shelters. Moreover, the grand prize offered to the winner is a loving home.
Produced in partnership with the American Humane Association, Kitten Bowl will air at 12 noon EST come February 4, 2014. It will then be re-played two more times immediately after the first broadcast.
Be ‘meow-ready’ for 2014, cat-folks.
