3D printing is the next big thing, and we’ve heard of all manner of things being printed, from shoes to skulls. But what about sweets?
The husband and wife team over at The Sugar Lab, Kyle and Liz, have managed to do just that.
It all started when they tried to make a birthday cake for a friend, but they didn’t have an oven—so, they decided to 3D-print it instead.
Much trial and error later, they succeeded in printing a tiny cupcake topper made of sugar.
Figuring that others might appreciate 3D-printed sugar too, they have since perfected their technique and set up ‘The Sugar Lab’.
