Creative Chemical Installations Covers Apartment With Stunning Blue Crystals

Most people would not think much of an old apartment, but British artist Roger Hiorns decided to spruce one up with “bling” that “grows” from copper sulphate solution.

Soon, the London flat—and everything in it—was filled with shiny blue crystals.

Some of these installations are experiments where the artist combines different materials together to observe the reactions that would take place.

The crystals have also allowed the artwork to become interactive as visitors had to step on them to explore the space.

Scroll down to have a look at the rest of his work, which marry art and science in a most unique way.
