After a decision to split the media conglomerate News Corporation into two companies—and the unveiling of 21st Century Fox’s logo—CEO of 21st Century Fox, Rupert Murdoch, recently debuted News Corp’s new logo.
The rebrand for the company—that will handle all publishing and newspaper properties, such as The New York Post and The Wall Street Journal—is based on Murdoch’s handwriting and his father, who provided “with not only a name, but a remarkable professional platform”, according to a memo by its new CEO Robert Thomson.
