One of the first things you learn at cooking school is how to use a knife.

As such, for culinary school Carulla, creative agency Ogilvy & Mather Bogota, Colombia, created a cookbook that aims to improve its users’ cutting skills.

Aptly entitled ‘Slice A Recipe’, the unique learning tool was give to students as a “special introductory cookbook”.

To see the recipes inside, readers had to follow the thin cutting lines marked on fore edge of the book, and literally cut the book apart page by page.

With each slice of a page, the students gradually improved their cutting skills and revealed what the book had in store.
