Designers Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay of Raw Edges have designed a bookcase shaped like a weaving loom that suspends books on threads.
Called ‘Bloom’, the bookcase was commissioned by the British Council to display fictional titles by young British novelists, picked by literary magazine Granta.
Each thread on the bookcase is able to hold a single book, which is held in place by a sliding black stopper.
