Beautiful Female Portraits Intermixed With Comic Book Collages

Montreal-based artist Sandra Chevrier uses comic books to cover the faces of female portraits in order to create beautiful art portraits.

Through her work, Sandra provokes discussion about the portrayal of women in mainstream comic books.

By covering the faces of her subjects and only revealing their eyes or mouth, she explores the controversy in the highly unrealistic physical portrayals of women.

Discussion aside, one can admire the beauty of these portraits, which are artistic as they are beautiful.
