After featuring Manon Wethly’s high speed photographs of drinks flung into the air, we chanced upon the work of Milwaukee-based photographer Jack Long—his photographs of splashing liquids look just like colorful blossoms.
To create these shots, Long mixes water with dyes and thickeners to create various effects—each shot is meticulously planned and prepared for, with the artist taking the picture at just the right moment.
The result is a veritable garden of liquid flowers, each more lovely than the last.
