Popular web comic artist Matthew Inman—better known as “The Oatmeal”—has created a couple of funny web comics that dissect exactly how humans view their faithful canine sidekicks and how dogs see their beloved “friendBeast”.
Showing how common traits and actions of human beings and dogs would look like to the other specie, these comics provide a humorous perspective from which to think about the relationship between man and dog.
For instance, while a human may think that a dog is silly for dunking his entire head into his water bowl to drink, the dog thinks that the human’s nose is “for decorative purpose only”.
Perhaps, these misunderstandings are what make humans and dogs so perfect together?
The Oatmeal has also just launched a sweet illustrated book—My Dog: The Paradox—that is based on a lovable comic he made about his dog last year.
