London’s Famous Landmarks, Made Of Thousands Of Sugar Cubes





To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Museum of London Docklands, artist Chris Naylor was commissioned to create a model of some of the English capital’s most well-known landmarks—with sugar cubes.



Featuring iconic structures like the London Eye and Tower Bridge, the model took 2,186 white sugar cubes to construct and weighs a hefty 13kg.



Sugar cubes are used to create the model because the old warehouse in which the museum is now based used to store large shipments of sugar, rum and coffee—obviously, creating a model out of rum or coffee is simply not feasible.
