Most people prefer to sip their beverage in a cup, but for Belgium-based photographer Manon Wethly, she prefers to have it thrown in the air.
In her ongoing photo series called ‘Flying Stuff’, Wethly takes various cups containing different liquids and tosses them up in the air—capturing the beautiful shapes that the liquids create.
Using beverages like coffee and juice to wine and colored water, the liquids are often taken against a blue sky—allowing the abstract shapes to stand out.
According to Wethly, most of her photos were captured using her iPhone, but she has since moved on to bigger cameras.
