Starbucks Joins In The ‘Suspended Coffee’ Movement

Originally from Naples, Italy, the ‘suspended coffee’ initiative lets customers buy and reserve an extra cup of coffee to have it given away to a homeless person.

In the spirit of charity, coffee giant Starbucks UK is the latest company that’s joining in the popular global trend—in partnership with community organization Oasis.

On top of letting people buy cups of joe to give away, when customers actually pay for a suspended coffee, Starbucks would also be matching the value of each cup in cash—and the money would be donated to Oasis for the people that need it.
