New York-based Italian photographer Luigi Bonaventura has created a gorgeous series of pictures—entitled “Behind The Edge”—that captures the graphic, eye-catching facades of hotels in Jesolo Beach, a town in Venice, Italy.
The vibrantly colored photographic eye candies presents the attractive, repetitious elements of the hotels in a symmetrical and visually striking manner—some of these facades look more like digital prints than real buildings.
According to the photographer, “the real mission is to show each structure as its Platonic ideal: that is, as the architect imagined it, not as it all too often looks in real life and mixing color encourage your own imagination around the picture”.
Wouldn’t you love to stay at one of these sweet, retro-style hotels for your next beach vacation?
