Created by Kenny Gibbs, the ‘Helios Bars’ promise to transform almost any bicycle into a ‘smart bike’.
‘Helios Bars’ are “the world’s first integrated headlight and blinker system for bicycles”.
The main headlight provides 500 lumens of brightness while the sidelights function as turn signals and as a visual speedometer.
What makes the ‘Helios’ truly smart is a range of other features including proximity lighting to automatically turn on the headlight when the it senses your presence and ‘turn-by-turn’ navigation that will trigger the rear lights to indicate an upcoming turn.
The ‘Helios Bars’ also provide GPS tracking allowing you to track your bike via SMS.
