To document the completion of the One World Trade Center last Friday, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey placed a GoPro camera on the final component of the spire as it was installed atop the skyscraper.
With the camera lens pointed down to the streets, the camera captured some vertigo-inducing footage of lower Manhattan.
The One World Trade Center is the third-tallest building in the world and has a height of 1,776 feet—a reference to the year of American independence.
