Started in 2008, the 100Cameras project rest upon a simple but powerful idea—to let disadvantaged children from all over the world express themselves with photography by giving cameras to them.
The pictures taken by the children—which allows us to see the world through their eyes—are then sold online, where all sale proceeds are given back to the communities of the young photographers and used for positive change.
From its first initiative in South Sudan, 100Cameras has since made it way to Cuba, the U.S.A and India—you can view the images taken in each place over here.
You can support the project by purchasing a print on its web store.
