A Young Couple's Unique 'Hobbit House' That Is Soon-To-Be Demolished

In a place called Glandwr, North Pembrokeshire in the UK, local authorities have recently ordered a young couple’s ‘hobbit house’ to be torn down.

The ‘hobbit house’ was a nickname that neighbours gave to the house due to its unique construction and resemblence to the home of the hobbits in J.R. Tolkien’s ‘Lord Of The Rings’ series.

It was built from scratch by Charlie Hague and Megan Williams, with only natural materials.

However, because the couple did not get planning permission to build this house, they have been ordered to take it down.

The couple built the home as a labour of love as a safe place for their child, Eli, to grow up in. They have two months to return the land to its original state.
