In Banksy’s eleventh piece of work from his “Better Out Than In” exhibit in New York, he has recreated a truck resembling animals headed to the slaughterhouse.
It is called ‘Sirens of the Lambs’, and it is an awakening installation to everyone it meets.
The truck carries 60 stuffed animals, including cows, chickens, pigs, lambs. The heads of these animals can be seen through truck’s wooden gaps, and they can be heard squealing for help as they travel in this "Farm Fresh Meats Inc" truck.
With this piece, Banksy makes a statement about the cruelty of the food industry. The ‘Sirens of the Lambs’ truck will be roaming the streets of New York for the next two weeks.
