Disney will be bringing the fantasy world in James Cameron’s AVATAR movie to life at its Disney Parks, and has unveiled in a blog post plans on what it will look like.
‘AVATAR Land’ will be a recreation of the terrain of the mythical planet ‘Pandora’, as seen in the James Cameron movie.
In a surreal landscape of floating mountains and gigantic trees, bioluminescent animals and glowing interactive plants, visitors will be able to experience Banshee rides, and ride a boat through the dense and awe-inspiring jungle.
As seen in the renderings created, the AVATAR-inspired land will also feature the ‘Tree of Life’.
AVATAR Land will be created with the help of James Cameron and Lightstorm Entertainment, and is expected to open its doors in 2016.
