Illustrators Create Images In Support Of Gay Rights In Russia

Andy Potts

Hoping to “make a statement and possibly a difference” about the growing anti-gay sentiment in Russia, agent Anna Goodson banded a group of illustrators together to create images in support of the LGBT community.

Goodson said on her personal blog, “Lately, I have been really disturbed by what’s been going on in Russia and the horrific treatment of homosexuals in that country.”

“There is a lot of controversy about The Olympic Games that are to take place in Sochi, Russia, especially with the way they treat the LGBT community.”

“We are often asked to create images for clients but here was an opportunity for them to create something meaningful, personal and from the heart,” she added.
