Toronto-based planning and design firm, Forrec Ltd., has recently created a mythical underwater world in a former Olympic stadium in Beijing, China.
The Beijing National Aquatic Center is a colorful world of wonder. It is located in the former place of swimming and diving events during the 2008 Olympics.
Since the 2008 Olympics, many structures that were specifically built for the games have become vacant, unutilized spaces. However, this water park remains a popular and fantastical destination for locals.
During the summer months, this place is often packed with so many people that one may even find it difficult to find a spot for swimming or diving.
