Connecticut-based photographer Stacie Turner seeks to break the taboo of breastfeeding in public with her honest photo series, ‘Breastfeeding In Real Life’.
The photographs don’t seek to glamorize the act, instead portraying the mothers in realistic situations, like in their homes, at the park or a bench at the mall.
Turner is a strong advocate for breastfeeding, and her photography is a conscious attempt at normalizing the act of breastfeeding in public, and “to eliminate social and cultural barriers” for all mothers.
