French artist Hubert de Lartigue is adept at painting nudes and portraits of women. He brings out the unique look of each woman he paints, highlighting her sensuous beauty in different ways.
His latest project, ‘Détails’, is a series of paintings of the delicate, sexy features of women, rendered in his signature photorealistic style.
A sense of intimacy is emphasized, as the viewer will need to be very close to the subject to be able to see these details—“As close as you need to be to pick up the scent of a discreet perfume worn by a beautiful woman,” said de Lartigue.
